A white house with five floors, fourteen windows, a balcony and an open door. After sixteen wonderful years, Graanmarkt 13 is bidding farewell to its home on the historic Graanmarkt in Antwerp.

Together with Bernaerts Auctioneers, Tim Van Geloven and Ilse Cornelissens are organising a special auction: Beautiful Chaos.

During this farewell auction, a carefully curated selection from the world of design, art and objects will go under the hammer.
Expect iconic furniture by Vincenzo De Cotiis, timeless designs by Vincent Van Duysen and paintings by Belgian talents such as Ben Sledsens and Dennis Tyfus — alongside works by dear friends of the house such as Bob Verhelst and the late Ysbrant van Wijngaarden. Together, they form the eclectic universe that has made Graanmarkt 13 so unique in recent years.

As part of Bernaerts’ 50th anniversary, this auction is a rare opportunity to collect a piece of Tim and Ilse’s world. Not just objects, but stories, textures and memories that have defined the soul of Graanmarkt 13 for years.

Ben Sledsens, 'The Flower Store', 2015. Est.: € 150000-200000

With a nod to the well-known shopping bags that once bore the slogan “Say Hi to Tim & Ilse”, we now hear a soft “Say Bye to Tim & Ilse”.
No farewell with sadness, but with gratitude.
Not an end, but a transition to something new, with the same refined view of beauty and meaning.

Jaguar E-Type, 1967. Est.: € 90000-110000
