CoBrA \u2013 Copenhagen \u2013 Brussels \u2013 (Amsterdam)<\/s> Antwerp<\/h4>\n

A unique collection of more than 40 artworks by the artist group COBRA was on display at Bernaerts_Gallery from 26 October. The renowned Danish gallery Secher Fine Art & Design approached Bernaerts and it was soon agreed \u2013 not in the least with the 75th celebration of Cobra in mind \u2013 to devote the (halls) hall Museum in Museumstraat for this exceptional three-day exhibition.<\/p>\n

The oil paintings and bronze sculptures of this crucial movement in post-war art have been carefully collected over the past three years: they include works by Pierre Alechinsky, Corneille, Karel Appel, Asger Jorn, Eug\u00e8ne Brands, Sonja Ferlov, Mancoba and Anton Rooskens.<\/p>\n

The exhibition was very successful. About 600 visitors were counted.
\nYou will also soon find Gallery Secher at BRAFA (28 January – 4 February 2024).<\/p>\n
