Singer-songwriter since she was wee, Alice bathes in a music-hall kinda zip, and brushes her guitar in fits of finger-picking.
Borrowing from the forefathers and frolicking with her peers, she weaves her songs intricately betweenchamber-folk and avant-pop, warbling and whispering her lyrics swollen with pictures and playful quips, into melodies of cheerful melancholy.

Alice often takes to the stage alone, but is now joined live by the instruments that make up the arrangements on her first LP (to be released in october), namely, a string quartet and backing vocalists.
