On March 25 we offered some 60 works from the former collection of Victor Servranckx. Amongst his possessions was a copy of Masereel's 1917 'Debout les morts' (lot 1190). This copy sold for 4600 euros. His copy of 'Il était une petite pie' with the illustrations by Miró (lot 1191) came off the block at 3400 euros. A small geometric drawing from the early twenties (lot 1236) sold for 3600 euros.
Earlier in the sale, two prints after Brueghel (lots 1072 and 10733), 'Elck' and 'The thin kitchen' sold resp. for 8200 and 5400 euros. Even higher was the result for Rops' 'Pornokratès', taking a stand at 11000 euros.

From an Antwerp private collection came a near immaculate set of the second run of the legendary avant garde review 'Het Overzicht'. The almost iconic covers were designed by legendary artists such as Delaunay, Moholy-Nagy, Peeters amongst others. These separate copies sold between 850 and 1500 euros.

Two drawings by Charles Doudelet (lots 1460 and 1461) were harshly chased after and climbed to resp. 6500 and 6000 euros. James Lee Byars' three lots (lots 1549, 1550 and 1551) sold for resp. 3800, 3600 and 3000 euros. Koen Van den Broek wrapped things up in style with his 'Cuban Border' selling for 2600 euros.
