From the former collection of A.J.J. Delen comes an unknown sculpture by Rik Wouters, together with three beautiful drawings. There is a remarkable collection of about 20 paintings and painted objects by the Amsterdam rock icon and artist Herman Brood, together with two canvases by the Peruvian born artist Carlos Revilla estimated resp. 8/10000 and 15/20000 euros. But no sale without some usual susupects: we offer Eugeen Van Mieghem, Albert Saverijs, Floris Jespers, but also Eugène Dodeigne, Bengt Lindtsrom, Victor Servranckx or Cheri Samba…. Not to mention more classic ancestors as there are Léon Herbo, Victor Marais-Milton or Frans Verhas …..

From the same collection of A.J.J. Delen comes a ’Jardin d’Amour’ drawing in colour pencil by James Ensor. By the same artist we offer his most alluring print ’L’entrée du Christ à Bruxelles, mardi gras’. This very early print with a signature ’d’époque’ is believed to fetch 32000 euros, or more. Post War items come abundantly: Engelbert Van Anderlecht, Jan Cox, Giacomo Manzu, Dan Van Severen, Koen Van Mechelen….rare editions by Dennis Oppenheim, Vito Acconci, Dan Graham, Ed Ruscha with his ’Babycakes’ but more important with his extremely rare to find ’Dutch Details’, Panamarenko, Gilbert & George, Daniel Buren, Lawrence Weiner …… and last but never least, the great Marcel Broodthaers with one of the 90 copies on mecanographic paper of his highly important ’Un coup de dés…’ edition from 1969. The enigmatic artist James Lee Byars will draw much of the attention with some extremely rare orig. photographs of some of his happenings in the legendary Wide White Space.
